Release Date: June 2026
Release Type: Feature Release
Branch: 2.7.0
OneDB v2.7.0 introduces enhanced database protection controls, a redesigned security dashboard, policy-aware database migration, protection event notifications, and optional NTP time synchronization support.
This release continues to improve security visibility, operational monitoring, and administrative control while maintaining high-performance database traffic processing.
New Features
Captured Query
OneDB now includes a dedicated Captured Query feature for monitoring and reviewing security-related database activities.
Administrators can easily identify SQL statements that trigger security protection rules and review them separately from standard query audit records.
Protection Rule Enforcement
Protection Rules now support both Monitor and Block actions.
Administrators can choose whether a detected event should be logged for review or actively prevented from reaching the target database.
Supported protection categories include:
- Query Protection
- Extraction Protection
- Performance Protection
- SQL Injection Protection
Protection Event Email Notifications
OneDB can now send optional email notifications when monitored or blocked protection events occur.
Notifications help administrators respond more quickly to suspicious database activity without continuously monitoring the dashboard.
Security Overview Dashboard
The default dashboard has been redesigned to provide a cleaner and more security-focused experience.
The new dashboard includes:
- Platform Health
- Protected Field Coverage
- Listener Status
- Cluster Status
- License Overview
- Automatic Dashboard Refresh
The layout is optimized for both desktop and laptop screens.
Database Migration
OneDB now includes a guided Database Migration feature.
Administrators can migrate tables between supported database platforms while tracking migration progress through background jobs.
Migration supports:
- Target DDL generation
- Batch processing
- Progress monitoring
- Background execution
- Error handling options
Policy-Aware Data Transformation
Database Migration can automatically apply existing OneDB protection policies during migration.
Protected fields may be:
- Tokenized
- Detokenized
This helps organizations maintain data protection standards throughout migration activities.
NTP / Time Synchronization
OneDB now supports optional NTP configuration for environments that require accurate system time synchronization.
The feature supports:
- Internal NTP servers
- Customer-managed NTP infrastructure
- Air-gapped environments
Organizations can continue operating OneDB even when external internet access is unavailable.
Enhancements
Monitoring Improvements
Monitoring metrics have been refined to provide more accurate visibility into:
- CPU Usage
- Memory Usage
- Disk Usage
- Network Activity
License Management Improvements
License management now provides improved validation and optional license start-date support.
Dashboard Improvements
The new dashboard is optimized to minimize unnecessary database activity and relies on lightweight runtime information wherever possible.
