Overview

The Mask menu is used to define masking rules that control how sensitive data is displayed to users or applications.

Masking allows OneDB to protect sensitive data while still allowing applications or users to view partial or formatted values when required.

Common Activities

Administrators can use this menu to:

  • Create a masking rule
  • Update a masking rule
  • Define masking format
  • Assign masking rules to templates or fields
  • Disable unused masking rules
